We love hearing how people found us and why they’ve signed up to access people’s history lessons from the Zinn Education Project. Here are a few of the hundreds of comments educators shared in March. Despite — and in response to — the Executive Orders censoring honest teaching, educators are bravely signing up at the Zinn Education Project in greater numbers.
More than 171,680 educators have signed up to access people’s history resources. Please donate so that we can continue to provide our free lessons and defend teachers’ right to use them.
I have used sections from the Zinn Education Project’s A Young People’s History of the United States and An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States for Young People with my 5th graders for years. I’m very interested in exploring more of the resources and teaching guides on your site. For example, Rethinking Columbus and the Constitution Role Play both look like something I can use with my fifth-graders. Thank you for creating quality and FREE resources for teachers!
