Reconstruction Workshop at Yale University

On Saturday, November 11th, the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition is offering a full day interactive workshop for teachers to explore themes, strategies, and primary sources related to teaching Reconstruction, its history, and its legacies.

The Teaching Reconstruction Workshop includes an introduction by Professor David Blight, a chance to explore primary resources, and student-friendly activities facilitated by GLC Education Director Daisha Brabham.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with a $50.00 stipend for travel and parking costs. This in-person event is for classroom teachers and teacher educators.
