Racial Equity Tools (Website)

Website.
RET offers research, tips, curricula, and ideas for people who want to increase their own understanding and to help those working for racial justice at every level.

Time Periods: 21st Century
Themes: Racism & Racial Identity

The Racial Equity Tools website offers resources, “research, tips, curricula, and ideas for people who want to increase their own understanding and to help those working for racial justice at every level — in systems, organizations, communities, and the culture at large.”

Newcomers to racial justice and RDI trainers will find the “core concepts” section useful. The website provides outlines of the fundamental issues and concepts essential for understanding how to identify and combat racial inequity and oppression.  The website also offers action plans, tools for evaluating a racial equity project or program, and teaching resources.

This resource is free, except for two programs: Transforming White Privilege curriculum, which is behind a paywall on the RET site, and the Racial Equity Learning modules which are linked to World Trust Educational Services’ site.
