I have adapted the Abolitionist Mixer and the U.S. Mexico War lessons for my 11th grade U.S. history class. Students were highly engaged in the interactive activities, with high student-to-student interactions. They were able to recall information about specific abolitionists and have a better sense of the issues involved in the U.S.-Mexico War. I will continue to use these resources in my class.
